Safety is perhaps the most important subject because everybody has to deal with safety. Every company is also responsible for ensuring that safety is taken into account and that everyone receives proper instructions.

The days of the week
This is the well-known list. Monday to Saturday are working days. Sunday is the day you are free. There are people who go to church in the morning and in the afternoon they visit the family, for example. Almost everyone in the Netherlands only works 5 days: from Monday to Friday. Saturday is typically a day for shopping.

What time is it?
Asking for the time is now much less common than before. After all, we all have a smartphone with us and it tells us what time it is. Yet the topic of “telling the time” is a topic that is offered in every language course. Note that the sentence always starts with “it is”.
